Start a Scope Conversation“They re-energized a 480V distribution system across four production bays without a single hour of unplanned downtime. Our line supervisors didn't know the work was happening until it was done.”
— Dale Kowalski, Facility Manager — Midwest Stamping Operations
MCC lineup installation, Bay 3 — Detroit Stamping Facility
Project Scope
Complete 480V distribution upgrade, 14 new MCC lineups, 3,200 ft conduit replacement
The Challenge
An aging switchgear system from 1987 was causing intermittent faults on a $38M stamping line. Every unplanned outage cost $65,000 in lost production. The client had been quoted 11 days of shutdown by two previous contractors.
Methodology
Conduit's pre-fab team built all panel assemblies off-site during normal production hours. A phased energization sequence allowed live switchovers bay-by-bay during scheduled 4-hour maintenance windows. Zero production impact.
Measured Outcome
- 0 hours unplanned downtime
- Project completed 2 days ahead of schedule
- System faults eliminated in 30-day post-commissioning window
On-Time Project Completion

Zero Lost-Time Incidents
“We spec'd a 15-week timeline. Conduit finished in eleven. More importantly, they understood USDA zone requirements without being told twice — that's not common in this trade.”
— Renata Okonkwo, Plant Engineer — Great Lakes Protein Processing
Wash-down zone conduit installation — Green Bay Processing Expansion
Project Scope
New 2,000A service entrance, wash-down rated distribution, 47 VFD installations, NEC 518 compliance package
The Challenge
A greenfield expansion added 180,000 sq ft of food-grade processing space. The electrical spec demanded NEMA 4X enclosures, stainless conduit in wet zones, and a VFD network tolerant of high-humidity environments — a combination that had tripped up the previous contractor on an adjacent facility.
Methodology
Conduit assigned a dedicated commissioning engineer for the duration. All wet-zone conduit was pre-sleeved and sealed before installation. VFD programming was completed during equipment dry-runs, eliminating a separate startup phase.
Measured Outcome
- Project delivered 4 weeks ahead of schedule
- Full USDA compliance sign-off on first inspection
- 47 VFDs commissioned with zero rework

“Six buildings, three states, one crew that understood how to scale without losing the detail work. They treated building six the same as building one. That's discipline, not luck.”
— Marcus Tillman, VP Operations — Heartland Distribution Partners
Site 4 main switchgear room — Heartland Distribution, Columbus OH
Project Scope
Six distribution centers, 600,000 sq ft aggregate, 12MW total connected load, unified BMS integration across all sites
The Challenge
A private equity-backed rollout required all six facilities to reach electrical readiness within a 26-week window to hit a contractual occupancy clause. Sites varied from new construction to adaptive reuse of 1970s-era warehouses. No single contractor had previously completed a scope this size for this client.
Methodology
Conduit deployed three parallel field crews under a unified project management structure. A shared commissioning checklist standardized across all sites eliminated rework from miscommunication. Sites 1–3 were completed early, allowing crew redeployment to accelerate Sites 4–6.
Measured Outcome
- All 6 sites delivered within the 26-week window
- 12MW energized without a single OSHA recordable
- Client avoided $4.2M in contractual penalties
